Once the CCOD is issued, our staff will collect and send the deceased from the hospital mortuary to our office embalming room.
If death occurs in a government restructared hospital, a doctor will certify the cause of death. Family can obtain a Certificate of Cause of Death (CCOD) from the ward nurse.
Embalming and dressing. The family needs to prepare a set of deceased’s clothing, personal belongings, dentures, or etc.. to hand to our staff.(placed in a coffin)
Register the Death
Prior to registration, the family should decide whether the body will be cremated or buried as this information is required when registering the death. Register the death at:

What to bring to Register a Death :
Identification documents of deceased and informant e.g. NRIC/Passport/Birth Certificate or FIN card
Consultation with the family to make service arrangements at our office , decide funeral ceremonial rites.
1) Decide whether the body will be cremated or buried.
2) Book cremation slot / Burial
3) The number of days for ceremony.
4) Decide the location for funeral wake ( Parlour or Tentage ).
5) Select our company Funeral Package.
6) Funeral day procedural arrangements.
7) Do registration of death.
8) Placing of obituary in appropriate media .
9) Storage of Ashes ( location ).

To get a permit from your
Town Council (Do remember to bring along a photo copy of the Registration of Death).
It you are holding the wake in your landed property and to use part of the road outside you house, you will need to get a permit from the Land Transport Authority (LTA).

Ashes of deceased can be stored at home or in a columbarium. Niches are available at the 3 government-managed columbaria and many other private columbaria.
Ashes may also be scattered at sea.
